This one was another quickie that I put together for the display board for the Fair.

It’s made using the East Coast Prep papers, and a Rubon from the Urban pack.
I have some exciting news to share with you all soon, another colour challenge for tomorrow, and I’ll take photo’s of the card I made of the 1st Colour Challenge.

Okay, so I FINALLY got around to one of Kristina’s Colour Challenges. I was suppose to be working on more samples for the Whyalla Fair, but got a little sidetracked!

Colours for this challenge are: Regal Rose, River Rock, White, Wild Wasabi and Purely Pomegranite. Here’s my BIG card.

Oh is that a NEW stamp set?? Hmmm might be! I’ve also used the Oh So Lovely set as texture on the Regal Rose and Wild Wasabi.

I’ve coloured in the image with an Aquapainter and Ink from the lid of the inkpads. Rather than use my usual light grey to outline an image, I’ve used River Rock to help the image pop from the card, it shows up better IRL.
ETA: A lovely US Demo sent me these images to play with

Another 12×12 Layout from Got Sketch 101. I actually thought for myself this time, and used different colours to the ones in the class. The little bit of red in the jacket was a bit tricky to start with, but I managed to work the Prep School Designer Paper in well with it. I’m quite pleased with this layout.

Layout Recipe
Stamp Set: Fishy Friends
Card: More Mustard Textured, Real Red, Wild Wasabi, Prep School Designer Paper
Accessories: Lots of Letters Chipboard, Photo Corner Punch, Scallop Punch, Mustard Ribbon, Wild Wasabi Ribbon, Red Striped Ribbon

Gosh I’m already behind in my Magnolia DT Challenges, today they will be up to number 4, but better late than never!
We were set the task, of creating a little scene in our card this time. Poor little Tilda, she looks so sad!

I stamped Tilda in Stazon Black onto Stampin’ Up! Watercolour Paper and coloured her using Markers and an Aquapainter. The cardstock was supplied from Magnolia, as well as some papers, but I just had to use the Fall Flowers Designer Paper range for this one.
The paper flower thingy was made by stamping Circle of Friendship onto Watercolour Paper, and cutting it out with the 1″ punch, layering it onto the 1 1/4″ circle, then onto the 1 3/8″ circle, then onto the Scallop Punch, phew nearly there! The last circle is actually 2 Round Tab punches turned at 90 degrees and taped together. I punched that from the Designer Paper. I also added a few dots to look like paper piercing around one of the layers.

I also cut Tilda out and mounted her off the page with Dimensionals, and added a bit of glitter to her wings.
