    Load of Love

    Posted in: Cards

Nice and BRIGHT today.  A card for my son whose birthday was yesterday.  Killing 2 birds, we also made this at linc n learn.

I started by colouring in using his favourite colours, then went to grab card only to find I had NONE of EITHER colour!!  He likes to use my card too you see!

Scrounged around and did manage to find enough to for 8 people at linc n learn!  The ladies did add a background on the red, and sponged around all the cardstock tone on tone too.

And then of course he wanted to be a little different and have Lemon Meringue Pie for a cake :)   (my first ever)

Gosh it’s been awhile since my last post.

I’m running slightly behind on my Virtual Stamp Club filming due to an unexpected trip to Adelaide, but my Stamp Club members will be happy to know that the projects have been created, and I’m ready to start filming :)

Here’s a little peek at what is in store for you.

We’ll be using the new Simply Scored for this month’s projects.

If you’re curious about Virtual Stamp Club, you can find all the details in the side bar under Virtual Stamp Club, or click here to take you to the original blog post.

    What is ESAD?

ESAD stands for “Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators” and it is an on-line group just for Australian and New Zealand Stampin Up demonstrators.

We so love what we do and not only do we love to share it with our customers, friends, and wonderful blog visitors, but we share our love for what we do with each other as demonstrators. We run swaps, challenges, tutorials, product know-how, and cyberstamps, and we are always there to help and support each other when it is needed.

So if you are a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand, then please feel free to click here to join our wonderful group

If the Hop is going nicely you would have just come from Yvonne Walkers’s Blog and now you get to check out my creations :)

Friday night a friend and myself hosted our very first social night of stamping and scrapping.  I managed to get a few cards made but can you believe I only got the 2 done in 4 1/2 hours!!  Too much talking and eating cheesecake I think!

Anyway, enough YAK, here are my creations to inspire you.

Using the ultra ‘oooo’ stamp set Bordering Romance, Twitterpated Designer Paper and some of the new Pleated Satin Ribbon.  The sentiments are from Word Play.

And I’ve managed to whip up another card on Saturday :)  This one has a little scoring in the Pear Pizzazz panel to add some interest. Using the new Simply Scored of course!

    Such a yummy set!

Bordering Romance is also the set that we’ll be using for this round of Stamp by Mail, and YES that does mean watercolouring.  Don’t let that scare you, I’ll be providing a video to help you out.

Enough waff from me, let’s now check out what Nicole Stalker has created for us.
