Well remember my lovely pile of photos and papers??

I finished creating with them today, but sadly this is all I can show you (I think).  The very funny ladies at Stampin’ Up! office thought it would be an idea to ask me to create a page for the Heartfelt Stampin’ Events (Training Day) that are being held in some states of Australia and New Zealand.  bwahahahaha, silly me said yes!

Anyhoo!  When all these events have been held, I’ll show you the whole thing.

As I venture into the land of Scrapbook, I wonder where you go for inspiration??

This lovely pile of photo’s, designer paper and cardstock will become a layout from page maps (I hope!).

To save me hours of trawling the net, I’d love for you to tell me your favourite sites.

So, if you wander through my blog, you’ll discover that I don’t Scrapbook very often.  For some reason I just can’t.. it takes me forever to get one simple page done.  This one is really basic, but has been sitting on my desk for about 2 weeks!!  What is wrong with me??

Very difficult to photograph too!!

I think my main problem is that I can’t ‘think’ boys when scrapbooking.  You know with girls you have flowers and hearts and pretty things, but boys???

So I do a Rosette, which is a girl thing, but I’ve tried to make it boysish!!  I started off with a zig zag piece of paper instead of a scalloped or lacy piece.

So…… if you have any advice on scrapping for boys, please feel free to leave your comments so I can try them out!

And apparently the 1st of May is National Scrapbooking Day!

Well I haven’t done any scrapbooking since Erica Martin’s Journalling 101 (which I loved), so here is one of the pages I did that I really liked.

I can’t believe these photos where taken about 4 years ago, my does time fly!

Every month or so Shelli Gardner has a challenge on her site www.soshelli.com, this month it is to create a Christmas item.

Holiday Harmony is the perfect papers for Christmas (and I get to use pinks on a layout with my boys ) I love how all the decorations are on the bottom of the tree, later to be moved to the top where little fingers cant steal them.

Now I’m not a confident scrapbooker so I did use a sketch from Got Sketch, they have great sketches. So with a bit of textured cardstock, Holiday Harmony Designer Paper, Satin Ribbon and Rub Ons, I’m quite happy with my finished layout.

I cant go past my favourite card either.  I still cant believe this was whipped up in 10 minutes!

Holiday Harmony Designer Paper is also ending tomorrow, so add it to your order.  I really doubt that you’ll see this paper again, as last year, all the Designer Papers were retired, so I’m GUESSING this will be the case too.
