This one was an interesting sketch to play with.  It almost became something different entirely!

Love love love the circle scissor plus!  And I must say I’m lovin’ brads more than ribbon at the moment.

The colour combo is a little different for me too, I found it on a colour combo creator site.  I punched in Regal Rose and it spits out a heap of options, this was one of them.  Regal Rose, Sahara Sand and Gable Green – interesting!!

    Yes, that’s right Scrapbook!!

I love this photo of my youngest son, he just looks so carefree and like nothing in the world is getting him down (and really at the age of 6 what is there to get him down?)

So stay tuned to whatever becomes of this photo, I’m thinking I might even get away with flowers!!

Erika Martin is back with a brand new scrapbooking course.

Unfortunately I couldn’t make the design team this round due to time restraints on my behalf, but I enjoyed the Journalling 101 course so much, that I though I’d give Erika a plug on her new course.

    Sponging Tip

    Posted in: Cards, videos

I just quickly whipped this up.  I shot it on my iphone, I think I need to work on the quality a bit more, it got a bit lost in the conversion to avi.

    Excuse my tongue tied moments.

It’s that time again, and this week was a great sketch.  Not only did we have the sketch, but also a cut out line image challenge.

I enjoyed making this card so much, that I immediately made another one the same, just in another colour scheme.

This one uses one of my favourite colour combo’s from the Colour Coach.  Ruby Red, Cameo Coral, Chocolate Chip and Creamy Caramel with some Very Vanilla throw in for layering.  I googled dragonflies to see what colours they come in, they come in heaps!  This one was based on the Flame Skimmer.

Here’s the other colour combo I did.

    IMG_3533

The colours are Taken with Teal, Tempting Turquoise, Green Galore and Whisper White.  The first card was sponged all in Chocolate Chip, whereas I’ve sponged tone on tone for this card.

So which one is your favourite?

I managed to make 10 cards in about an hour yesterday, go me!!

The easiest way I know to do this is to keep a simple design, precut all your cardstock and then just settle in for mass production….. and keep going till you do them all (otherwise I end up with 10 part cards never finished!)

These are cards for my top 10 downlines this month.
