New Wood Mount Cases coming soon!

Introducing our new wood-mount stamp set packaging! These new cases are similar to our clear-mount boxes and fit perfectly on the shelf right next to them. They also have the images and stamp set name on the spine to make your search for the right set even easier.

Starting 1 July all wood-mount sets will come in this new packaging  And empty cases will be available with the launch of the new catalogue. That means you can transfer all your old sets to these new boxes! There will even be a template for you to create your own label for your old stamp sets (available 1 July). A pack of four half-size cases (9.5 x 14 cm) will sell for $8.95 AUD/$10.50 NZD and a pack of four full-size cases (19.1 x 14 cm) will be $11.95 AUD/$14.50 NZD.

Get ready for all the exciting new products in the catalogue–especially the new wood-mount boxes!

The Perfect Career

I thought this was good!

A woman walked into the office of the personnel manager of a large company and said:

“I’ve decided to come and work for your company, but there are a few things I feel you should be aware of before I start. First of all, I will only be working a couple of days a week and when I do come in, it’ll only be for about three hours at a time.”

“If I want to make plans to go somewhere with my family during such times as Christmas, New Year, Easter or school holidays I will do so without anyone asking me questions about it and if some family difficulty arises, I will arrange for postponement of my work until I can get back to it.”

“As a salesperson for this company, I will do the best job I can, but I expect the company to provide all the incentives and awards needed to encourage my customers to buy our products. Please be sure the incentives and awards are changed on a regular basis to keep up the interest and motivation.”

“With regards to compensation, I would like a percentage of everything I sell. Let’s say $30 or more per hour, plus bonuses if I do a better than average job. I also expect you to offer me a variety of awards such as gifts and prizes just for doing my job.”

“Oh, and by the way; if I decide to become a manager with your company, I will expect additional bonuses paid to me on my personal sales and the sales of all people connected to me.”

By now the personnel manager was in convulsions of laughter but managed to say, “I don’t know where you are from lady, but there is no such job in the world as the one you’ve just described!”

“Well, I beg to differ”, the woman said, “my friend has just joined party plan and that is exactly the kind of job she has!”

Email me if you’d like some information on joining my party plan team!

Adelaide Quilt & Craft Fair

Okay, well I’m off to the fair today, a lovely 7 hour drive (maybe more!)

I’ll have my iPhone with me, so I’ll be able to check emails and have internet access, but I won’t have access to a computer.

During the next couple of days, I won’t have any new cards to show you, but I’ll be doing some flashbacks, blast from the past type of thing.  Perhaps you could use the layout or colour scheme of them for a jumping point for your own creations.

If you need me or would like to place an order while I’m away, just email me :)

New Look (Again)

Screen Capture of new blog I know, I can’t seem to help myself!!

It was time for a nice clean look.  I still have a few things to tweak with the pages on under the banner, will get to that in the coming days.

I have to say a HUGE thank you to Gabbie for setting it up on the spur of the moment.  You NEED to check out Gabbie’s site too, she creates the most amazing handcrafted soaps.

The blog pretty much works in the same way as the last one, only the Categories list is now in the sidebar on the right instead of under the banner.  So if you are looking for just cards, just click on the Cards link and it will bring up only the cards.

You will see under each post a share link, so you can share any of the blog posts on facebook, twitter etc with all your friends.

I hope you enjoy the new look, and don’t forget to check out The Soap Dish!
