I cleaned my craft room! I have bench top and floor again! I’m super excited. I changed a few things around, and am enjoying being in there again.
Anyways I found a pile of backgrounds and images that I’d coloured, so rather than throw them out, I thought I’d sit down and turn some into cards. Imagine that!
I have a rather large pile of Brusho pieces from various techniques I’d been playing with. I’ve made two of them into cards so far. Both with the same layout from Freshly Made Sketches.
It’s been some time since I’ve played with a sketch, but it does make the process a little quicker.
The first card I made was with the Embossing Folder Technique. This one is a fun technique to play with. Very striking against the black. The strip of DSP is Petal Passion. I’ve used the Amazing You Stamp Set and Celebrate You Thinlit for my sentiments. Both are available as free items during SAB. I’ve embossed YOU with White Embossing Powder.
Here’s the video showing the Brusho Embossing Folder Technique (visit the blog to view if reading via email)
My second card is the same as the first, but in a different colourway, and using a different Brusho Technique. This card uses the Brusho Starch Technique and is also so much fun to play around with.
Here’s the video showing this technique.
I have a few more finished UFO’s to share, but I also have plenty of more backgrounds and bits and pieces to turn into cards. I’m determined to not waste them.
