Grand Vacation Hawaii Blog Hop
Welcome to another Grand Vacation Hawaii Blog Hop.  You may have come from BJ Peters Blog.
What an amazing trip it was! This month our theme is the Pillow Gifts we received on the Hawaii Trip.
We received so many awesome Pillow Gifts this year, one of them was the Project Life This Is The Life Bundle. This Bundle included a Stamp Set, Card Collection and Accessory Pack. We also received a cute little necklace with a Pearl Charm and a Hibiscus Flower Charm on it. (I just chose to do a flower, not Hibiscus). So these two items are my inspiration for the card.
For my card, I’ve picked one of the 4″ x 6″ cards from the collection, trimmed it down and used it as the background layer. Bermuda Bay for the colour of the water in Waikiki Beach, and yes it was this colour.
My Watermelon Wonder flower was one shown by Brandi at Convention. It’s just several circles that have been notched with the Envelope Punch Board, layered with dimensionals.
Topped off with a little bit of Washi Tape from the Accessory Pack.
Here’s a look at the layers in the flower.
Our next stop is Alison Solven 🙂

Lovely bright card Alisa. Your colour combination is gorgeous.
Gorgeous card, as always! Love your colour combo!
That flower is SO cool! I haven’t seen that done before! Beautiful card. So clean and crisp!
Ooooh. Thanks for the notched-circles inspiration – You saw it from Brandi but *I* saw it from you so I’ll credit you for this idea 😉 Your card is gorgeous. And I do miss that Bermuda Bay-coloured water at Waikiki (is it weird that Hawaii’s water is the colour of “Bermuda”? Ha ha!). It was so wonderful to meet you and your family. I’ll look forward to next time. Have a terrific day and a great weekend ahead. God Bless, ~Cynthia <
LOVE the EPB flower, so clever. I adore this card, so bright and happy, takes me back to Hawaii! Thanks so much for playing along to the blog hop this month. Louise xo
Hadn’t seen that flower – how clever. What a great use of the envelope board. Cant wait to try that.
Beautiful Alisa! Love Project Life for quick and punchy cards! Love the EPB flower too 😉

What a great card, Alisa! So glad you shared the fun flower technique! Can’t wait to give it a try!
Wow! What a fabulous idea!
Love that flower!!! What a great color combo!
Gorgeous card Alisa! Bright and beautiful – the PL background is the exact right blue for the waters off Waikiki right? And the flower the perfecT embellishment! Mahalo Shanni
Yay… love what you did with the PL cards!
