Stampin’ Up! Best Birds
Hey Everyone!! Welcome to this month’s Around the World Stampin’ Up! Blog Hop! This month we are featuring Branches and Flowers! I’ve pulled out Stampin’ Up! Best Birds to play with again.
I’ve actually had this card in my head for quite some time, so it was great to finally get it out into reality.
Here’s the quick and basic instructions so you can also create this card:
Fold a piece of 130 x 210mm Crumb Cake card in half. Run a piece of 130 x 50mm Island Indigo Card through the Big Shot with the new Petal Burst Embossing Folder. Adhere this to a piece of 130 x 52mm Pool Party Card. Adhere this panel to the card front.
Stamp the birds, branches and flowers onto Shimmery Card and colour with Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Early Espresso, Pool Party, Island Indigo, Wild Wasabi and Garden Green Inks. I used an Aquapainter to colour my images. Cut out with the matching framelits.
Adhere the branches with Fast Fuse, and the birds and flowers with Dimensionals. Stamp Happy Birthday with Island Indigo Ink, cut out and adhere to card front.
Finish the card by adhering Basic Rhinestones to the flower centers.
I’m really pleased with how this card turned out 🙂 it’s always nice when what is in your head actually turns out the way you envisioned it.
