Stampin Up Birthday Blooms
Hello Monday! And welcome to another Monday Blog Hop 🙂 This week is a colour challenge, and I’ve used Stampin Up Birthday Blooms as my stamp set, so you’ll get a little sneak peek of the new Occasions Catalogue today 🙂

I’ve used the Softly Falling Embossing Folder to emboss the card base. Layers of Blushing Bride and Rose Red with a little bit of Everyday Chic Washi Tape adhered to fill the space.
The Blooms are watercoloured with Pink Pirouette first, then Blushing Bride and Rose Red for depth. Mint Macaron for the leaves, and I’ve just let one layer dry before adding another for depth.
A little bit Metallic Silver Thread looped behind the blooms for the embellishment, and I’m done! If you colour up a heap of flower ahead of time, this card is really quick to assemble. You could have a stash of great looking Birthday Cards made up in all different colours.

Here’s the Challenge if you’re playing along at home.

And…. If you’d like to see it come together, here’s a quick video for you 🙂
Next on our Blog Hop is Jane Riches 🙂

Beautiful colouring. I love the metallic thread peeking out behind the flower.
So pretty. I love the softly falling embossing in the background.
