The Artful Stampers Blog Hop 40
Hi everyone, welcome to another Artful Stampers Blog Hop Challenge. This week I’ve used Stampin Up Feel Goods to create my Sketch Challenge.
This verse has to be one of my all time favourites! I’ve created a simple card using Melon Mambo as my colour pop, along with black, white and silver. The paper is Everyday Chic Designer Series Paper, teamed up with Everyday Chic Designer Washi Tape. Melon Mambo Stitched Satin Ribbon tied in a double bow, and a scattering of Silver Sequins from the Metallics Sequin Assortment. The paper has been cut with Deco Labels Collection Framelits. The base card is our lovely new Thick Whisper White Card.
To see how I’ve tied the bow, check out the video below (it was made a few years back). To do the double bow, simply cut the ribbon 10cm longer (I used 40cm for this one) and wrap it around twice before finishing the loop.
Here’s the sketch we played with, so you can play along at home.
Next we are on to Anna Foster to see how she managed the sketch 🙂
Lovely bold card – & love the double-bow in the shiny ribbon 🙂
So beautiful – pink and black is always elegant.
Gorgeous Card! I love how the Melon Mambo pops!
Just gorgeous love the colour combo:-)
I really love how that washi tape matches the DSP perfectly.
lovely colours I agree for this sketch, gorgeous card.
I love your card! Pink, black and white is always a winner in my book…love your bow too and thank you for re-posting that video…I remember seeing it a while ago but it is good to get a refresher. Bows are a bug bear of mine….I can never make them look good (hence so few on my cards!) 🙂
