Stampin Up Flurry of Wishes

Welcome to The Artful Stampers Blog Hop Challenge 55.  This week I’m playing with Stampin Up Flurry of Wishes, the sketch challenge I’ve set, and a colour combo I saw in Target.  They had the most beautiful greeny sparkly ornament along with white and gold ornaments hanging on display.

I came home and decided on Mint Macaron, White and Gold.  I didn’t quite turn out how I had it in my mind, but it’s not too bad.

As if the Gold Glimmer Paper and Gold Glitter Ribbon didn’t add enough sparkle, I covered the snowflake panel and sentiment in Clear Wink of Stella (available in January from Stampin’ Up!  – Squee!)

I’ve used the emboss resist technique for the Snowflake panel.  Stamping on Whisper White cardstock with Versamark, embossing in Whisper White, and sponging Mint Macaron over the entire piece.

For the sentiment, I first stamped a larger snowflake tone on tone, then embossed the sentiment with White Powder, cut out by hand and sponged the edges.
