The Artful Stampers Blog Hop Challenge 11
And my entry for The Artful Stampers Blog Hop Challenge nearly didn’t happen! I’ve ONLY just created this card with 15mins left to blog about it. Thankfully Stampin Up Wondrous Wreath came to the rescue for a quick card.
The colours for this weeks challenge is Rose Red, Blushing Bride, Smoky Slate, Basic Gray and a Green of your choice. I chose Old Olive.
I first started by stamping the wreath in a base of Blushing Bride, and overlaying the second colour with Rose Red. The berry’s were then stamped with Old Olive. I’ve double layered the Whisper White Card, although I’m not quite sure you can see it in the photo.
I’ve then run my Smoky Slate card through the Big Shot with the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder, and layered it onto my Basic Gray Card.
The base card is Rose Red.
I then had a couple of goes at cutting out the Joy using the Wonderful Wreath Framelits, which are a matching die for the stamp set. You need to be ultra careful when taking the word out of the die, my first go tore, so go slowly and gently.
Each layer is then popped up using Dimensionals. I have finished off my card with Wink of Stella, to give a little sparkle to the word Joy, the embossed dots, and the base card.
Here’s your graphic to play along at home.
