Be Jolly Santa Coloured with No Line Technique
Hi everyone! I’ve played with the No Line Colouring Technique before, but not on cute little characters like the Santa from Be Jolly.
My first attempt wasn’t too great, I went too heavy on the grey in the beard, so I had another go with a lighter hand.

Isn’t he just the cutest? I started by stamping Santa in Smoky Slate Ink onto Basic White Card. The ink is water based, which means I can colour with our Blends and there will be no bleeding of the ink.
Just to show the difference between Line and No Line Colouring, here’s my newly coloured Santa with a card I’d made previously.

I did go back and add some black to his eyes, instead of leaving them Smoky Slate. I wasn’t sure I’d done the right thing here, but friends on my Facebook Business Page said it looked fine so I was happy to use him…. Instead of binning him!
What you can’t see in the photo at the top is all the Wink of Stella on each of the stars in the DSP. Adds a whole heap of sparkle to the card. I chose the Star paper from the Sweet Stockings DSP because the Evening Evergreen matches Santa’s mittens, and the Bumblebee works well with the buckle on his belt.
Product ListI hope you enjoyed this card and have a go at the No Line colouring technique yourself.
Cheers for now
