I’ve had an interview over at Aussie Crafts, check it out 🙂
Gee this set is great to colour with crayons.
Just a bit of playing around, nothing too flash.
I’ve used the colour coach on this one. The colours are Not Quiet Navy, Creamy Caramel and Bashful Blue. I’ve also used the Itty Bitty Background set, and the Print Backbround Stamp. Where the diamonds meet on the BG stamp, I’ve used a white gel pen to add dots.
A cheer me up card for my MIL who may have Whooping Cough. The colours are Gable Green and Pixie Pink, other stamp sets are Itty Bitty Background and Little Pieces.
Woohoo! It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for. 🙂 The mini is now online for you to view. You can see it here
Jam packed with great new stamps, scrapbooking paper, the new Cutter Kit, punches, accessories.

I have a new set of Stampin’ Up! Markers to play with now :).
The following card is actually from a sketch challenge. I’ve used the colour wheel to select colours again. That wheel is soooo handy, it takes all the guess work out.
I’ve used the markers directly on the rubber, then huffed on it, the moisture from your breath makes it wet again. I stamped 3 times without recolouring between stamps. These are called stamping generations. I’ve sponged around all the layers and the card with Ruby Red and Chocolate Chip. The card actually folds at the top. I’m really pleased with the way this has turned out.
Oh and another little tip, the Paper Piercing Tool from the Crafters Tool Kit is wonderful for making nice even and straight holes for your brads 🙂 I have always had trouble lining them up.

I’ve been feeling a bit despondant for the last week or so about the standard of my cards. I think I’ve been looking at too many other blogs where the cards are AMAZING! So I’ve felt the need to get back to what I love doing and that is colouring in. 🙂 I would so love to be able to share what’ve I’ve come up with so far for the stampers challenge, but you’ll have to wait for the mag to come out.
Today I thought I’d try a construction card. My group at Linc ‘n’ Learn is about to finish for the term, and a few of them are moving on to another craft. I’ve had so much fun with them these past 10 weeks, so for a treat we are going to do a flip tag card instead of your run of the mill card 🙂
The first picture shows the card closed, and the second is open. Thanks to the Technique Junkies for the instructions.
