Did you miss out on signing up for my Peony Garden Stamp by Mail? I’m going to reopen for just a few days. This will be a catch up month, you’ll then go into the same timeline as the rest of the group.
Here’s a sneak peek of what my ladies are creating this month.
Over the next few days, I’ll be sharing videos on just the colouring process. I won’t be showing the whole cards on my videos, as they’re for my ladies, but I will share the colouring right here on my Blog and YouTube.
I’m back playing with To a Wild Rose. I saw a card on Pinterest (not Stampin’ Up!) and thought I’d love to try it with our stamps.
I’ve used Shimmery Card for all the ‘white’ card. I started off by taping down my Shimmery Card to a board with Painters tape. I then white embossed the flower and leaves randomly over the card. Using Granny Apple Green Ink, I did a watercolour wash, and allowed to dry.
I also white embossed a few extra flowers and did a waterwash of Melon Mambo ink, allowed to dry and cut out.
The leaves were stamped in Stazon Black and coloured with Granny Apple Green and Shaded Spruce Inks
The base is Shaded Spruce with a sliver of Melon Mambo on the sides.
And a graphic for your Pinterest Colour Combo Boards 🙂
And then just as I was finishing my card – ding dong!! My long awaited order arrived. I’ll be getting your Incolor Club and Paper Shares out ASAP!
So as I was drifting off to sleep the other night, I was thinking of how I could create the Jar of Flowers in a Milk Glass Jar. I think I managed it, but I had to use some retired product.
Milk Glass is white with raised patterns on the glass, usually dots. I was going to use the Dot to Dot Embossing Folder (in the Clearance Rack), but I’ve parted with mine already. I turned to the Parisian Flourish 3D Folder instead. The card I’ve used to punch the jar out with was Gloss Cardstock. I lined up the jar so that part of the pattern was centered before running it through the machine.
A smaller, tighter pattern would have suited better, but I think it’s okay!
I coloured the flowers with several Blends – Lovely Lipstick (waiting for my new Melon Mambo), Flirty Flamingo, Mango Melody, So Saffron, Seaside Spray, Call me Clover and Granny Apple Green.
The die in the back ground is the largest rectangle from Stitched So Sweetly. And the sentiment is from Label Me Bold.
I didn’t add any extra bling because in real life, the glossy jar is enough.

When does it Start? Stamps by Mail will begin in June 2020. I will order supplies to come to me on the 10th of each month. I’ll ship them out as soon as I receive them. The first month may be late, as I’ll be ordering my own products on the 3rd June, I’ll madly design our first 3 cards, cut kits and get them out to you as soon as I can.
I fear it is going to be a little while before my order reaches me, so in the mean time, I thought I’d share with you some of the stamps that I’ve got coming. The first on my list was the Hippo Happiness Bundle. This one is a little special to me as it’s my dear friend Robyn Cardon’s Million Dollar Stamp Set that she helped to design.
This is such a cute set, loaded with stamps and matching dies. And it’s a true 2 step stamping technique set.
You stamp up Hippos, Lambs, Horses, Unicorns, Butterflies. Heaps of accessories to dress them up. Balloons, bows, flowers etc.
I think this set will work for anyone. Kids, Adults, Boy and Girls. It’s a pretty universal and fun set.
I’ll have a few more posts showing what’s coming, so stayed tuned.
Also, just a reminder that my Peony Garden Stamp by Mail closes in 3 days. Don’t miss out on it, it’s going to be a good one. Click on the graphic to learn more about it.
Just a heads up – Not only do we have a brand new catalogue, host promotion, joining special going live tomorrow….. we have a BRAND NEW Website going live!!
The address is www.stampinup.com.au but you will be redirected. You will be asked to enter in your password to your account, even if your password has been saved. The new website will be like a completely new page you’ve never visited before and these details won’t be saved to the new one. Hope that makes sense!
Here’s what you can expect on the new site.
* The store is designed to work seamlessly on desktops, tablets, and mobile phones. * New and improved store navigation provides an updated and enhanced shopping experience. * The site utilises new, larger imagery to better showcase our products and allow up-close details to be seen. * New landing pages tell our product stories better. * New sorting options and filters provide a more intuitive shopping experience, allowing you to more easily find what you are looking for. The store’s organisation and terminology are also more intuitive. * The site utilises inventory status information to show you what items will be retiring soon, have low inventory, or are backordered so you can make informed purchasing decisions. * You can mark your favourite items for later reference, and you can create and share personalised wish lists. * A new Quick Shop feature makes it easy to add items to your basket. We have also simplified the checkout process.
I also have a brand new Host Code for you to use during June. If you click on the graphic, it will actually take you to my Online Store AND automatically apply the code for you!
If you have any issues with the new store or getting your password reset, please contact Stampin’ Up! directly as they’ll be able to help you out from their end.
Paula and I are back with a brand new Stampin’ Down Under PDF Class for you. This month we are creating with the new Tasteful Touches Stamp Set. We’ve gone for nice bright colours for our tutorial, I’m sure you’re going to love them!
Our tutorial features 6 cards, 3 designed by Paula and 3 by Myself.
I had a little play with the new Jar of Flowers by Stampin’ Up! This new set is a reversible set, which means you can turn the jar over and stamp it as a solid. I did this in my card.
You may have seen the painted mason jars on Pinterest, they have almost a chalky look to them. I used the solid side of the stamp and stamped with Whisper White Ink onto Petal Pink card, then punched out with the matching punch. I think this might show up better on a darker colour card. Might have to play again.
You can see tho, that the jar is lighter than the card base, and does have a bit of chalky texture to it.
The flowers are stamped onto Shimmery Card, coloured with Petal Pink & Rococo Rose, Seaside Spray, Old Olive, Mossy Meadow & Shaded Spruce.
And of course my favourite Label Me Bold set for the sentiment. You only have a few more days left to purchase this one before it’s gone for good. You’ll be seeing lots from in the future tho.
If you’d like a video on the colouring of the flowers, please let me know 🙂
