Introducing Karl!

Ages and ages ago Karl came to me with a little box he’d made. He’d seen it on the ABC channel very quickly and remembered how to create it. I told him to show me how to make it, then I thought you all might like to see it.

The box is made with one sheet of A4 sized paper, but Karl made his own pattern card, it’s a little hard to fold, but I think you get the idea.

I’m going to try one with Designer Paper to see how it goes. We’d love to see what you can create with it.

If you do create your own little box, we’d love to see it.

PS: Please excuse the watermark, have had to convert files and goodness knows what else to get this to work

  1. Loved your video & very clear instructions Karl.
What a super duper idea! I’m going to try it out right now.
Your green/red box, would look fabulous to put Santa’s treats in at Christmas time.

  2. Thanks so much for the great tutorial Karl. The boxes you made look fantastic. I have to have a go at this for sure!!! Keep up the good work!!

  3. Awesome Box Karl, your tutorial was very easy to follow. Your instructions were very user friendly. I’m going to show my class at school, and get them to have a go. I teach grade 3/4 children. I’ll let you know how they go. Thanks again. Donna Zammit

  4. Karl, what a great tutorial – you did a fantastic job of showing us, and explaining to us what you were doing at the same time. The box looks great, with it’s red and green stripes, but I don’t think I have strong enough hands to make one as strong as that, so I’ll be sticking to single paper from your Mum’s collection. Thank you for showing me how to make it, Jo

  5. Wow Karl!! What a great ‘explainer’ you are…… must get that trait from your mum.
