Loose Water Colouring with Stencils
I tried out a bit of Loose Water Colouring with Stencils from the Layers of Beauty Bundle. The pieces turned out so much nicer than I was expecting.
Here’s my trial piece and then a full sheet where I had stamped over the card several times.

I was able to create two cards from the one piece of Fluid Watercolour card.

Loose Water Colouring with Stampin up layers of beauty bundle
- Using Stencil 1, apply the ink with a Blending Brush. Spritz with water and allow to dry.
- Repeat using Stencil 2 & 3, spritzing with water and allowing to dry between layers.
- TIP: use a Heat Tool to speed up the drying process.
- Stamp the image over the watercolour flowers.
- Use Stencils 4 & 5 to finish the leaves. I didn’t spritz these layers because I didn’t want the Greens to spread into the soft roses.

Video to show Technique.
The colours I used for the pinkish cards are Petal Pink, Calypso Coral and Old Olive. Over stamped with Pebbled Path.
The colours that I showed in the video are Fresh Freesia, Berry Burst and Old Olive.

This was a fun technique and I hope you give it a go.
