Magical Day Sneak Peek
Welcome to our very last Colour your World Blog Hop. I am sad that our group has come to an end, I’ve enjoyed playing along each month with some pretty interesting colour combinations!
And of course, December is no different. I didn’t use all the colours in this month’s challenge, but I did stick with Night of Navy, which is a colour I don’t use very often.
I’ve been experimenting with the Brusho alot in the last few days, and once I’d picked out my stamp set (the brand new Magical Day) I knew I wanted a space or galaxy looking background for my Wizard.
I created my Space Background (see video below – come to the blog if you’re reading via email) on Watercolour Paper, in my video I’ve used Shimmery Card to see if I would get a different look.
I stamped the Wizard onto Whisper White with Memento Ink, and coloured him with the new Stampin’ Blends. The bubbles (which I was hoping would look like the remains of a magic trick or spell) were cut from Peekaboo Peach and So Saffron with the tinest of dies that match the stamp set. I can’t believe I actually managed to stick them down!.
I decided to leave the sentiment from the front of the card, and placed it inside as an alternative.
Here’s the video:
Next we are hopping on over to see what Patsy is creating, I’m sure it will be amazing.
Your card is so cute Alisha, love the galaxy background, your video was great too. I think I might have to invest in some Brusho.
Thanks Monika 🙂
