Merry Snowflakes Christmas Card
It’s time for my yearly Orange and Pink Christmas Card! This year I’m playing with the Merry Snowflakes Stamp Set and some emboss resist.
I started on Pumpkin Pie card and white embossed the largest snowflake from the set.

I started first by using my Blending Brush to apply Pumpkin Pie ink around the edges and towards the centre of the card. I then applied Melon Mambo around the edges over the Pumpkin. Unfortunately the pink ink stained some of white emboss. It would just not budge when buffing the embossed images. I would have liked them to be a little whiter than they are.
I next added white dots around the snowflakes with the Chalk Marker. I started with the sentiment white embossed on Pumpkin Pie card, but it got lost in the card. I ended up with it stamped in Melon Mambo Ink on White.

I added large Rhinestones to the centre of the snowflakes. I then had visions of adding small Rhinestones to each of the snowflakes, but that would mean 18 of them! Instead I added some Wink of Stella to the inner part of the image. I think you can just pick it up in the photo below, but of course looks great in real life.

I might have a play with some softer oranges and pinks yet.
Here’s what I’ve used for this card.
Product ListI might come back with a video for this card too. I still have to create one for my last post. I haven’t forgotten!
Cheers for now
