Thursday was just one of those days where I just needed to colour. It’s been a long time since I’ve coloured with my inks in a pouncy kind of way!
I pulled out my Free as a Bird set, it’s been too long since I’ve used this set too. I do love it tho! I just coloured for the sake of colouring. And today I finished the card, for no reason at all. No class design, no videos in mind. Just made a card for the pure enjoyment of it.
I do actually have a video showing the colouring of the birds from way back in May 2019! The colouring I did yesterday is a little more pouncy than the video.
After colouring, I cut the image out (why was there no die??)
On a scrap of card that was bigger than my largest Stitched Shape Circle, I blended Flirty Flamingo and Petal Pink Inks with my Blending Brushes. After I cut my shape, before removing the card, I used a stylus to trace around the inside of the die which gave me that lovely raised look.
The rest of the card is fairly simple. Emboss a layer of White Card with a folder of your choice. I used Subtle Dynamic Folder. A few white circles from the Sequins for Everything finishes off my card.
