Stampin Up Sheltering Tree
I’ve seen some really pretty cards using Stampin Up Sheltering Tree Stamp Set, I’ve not yet bought the set, but I do have a card I can show you from the Swap I was in. This card was created by Jill Cameron Hilliard.
It’s a very simple card layout wise, but it definitely caught my eye.
It’s time for our guessing game with colours as swaps didn’t come with a recipe, but I think we can make a pretty good assumption with this card 🙂
The Sheltering Tree Set comes in Photopolymer and consists of 14 stamps. The main tree image here has been stamped in Chocolate Chip. The main cluster of leaves I would say is Pear Pizzazz. The set then has a little stamp with a cluster of little leaves so that you can add a second colour easily. The sprinkle of leaves here has been done with Garden Green.
You can also add a Broom, or a Bike or in this case, a Swing under the tree, done in Chocolate Chip, and a swish of grass, also in Pear Pizzazz.
The stamped panel has been layered onto a piece of Chocolate Chip Card, and then onto a Crumb Cake base. The set comes with 4 sentiments, one of which has been stamped in Garden Green, made into a banner and then adhered under the tree.
A great card and stamp set with loads of options for making trees for all the seasons.
