Stampin' Up! Wetlands Father's Day Card

Hey Everyone! Man cards were requested at Linc n Learn this week, and do you think I have a great collection of man stamps? NOPE! The only set remotely masculine I have is Stampin’ Up! Wetlands. Pinterest generously provided me with the inspiration for the cards we made.

We started by tearing some copy paper and positioning it on a piece of Whisper White card. The colours range from Early Espresso to Crumb Cake and Pool Party into Marina Mist. Now I didn’t sponge my Marina Mist as heavily as the ladies in my group, which made it not match the Marina Mist card I took to layer. Bermuda Bay card was a better match for my colours.

We did one in Portrait style, and one in Landscape.

The string around the cards is actually the burlap ribbon with the threads pulled apart, and then just secured at the back of the card with Fast Fuse and a separate piece to tie them all together.

So now I’m all set for Father’s Day on Sunday 🙂
