Welcome to the Stamping Society September Blog Hop! This month we are featuring the Mercury Glass Designer Acetate!!
For my blog hop card, I’ve used the Caught in Crystal technique. The design gave me a little grief, but I think I managed to pull it all together.

I started with the shimmery crystal effects smeared on the Mercury Glass, and window sheet. I then dropped some ink from Melon Mambo and Crushed Curry reinkers, and smeared them together with my finger. Might want to use gloves for this technique. I then sprinkled some of the ice glitter, and placed a single sheet of tissue paper down. Once dry enough, adhere to whisper white card.
I did wish to use the Bauble punches from the Christmas Gleaming bundle, but it was just too thick and wouldn’t cut through. I actually thought I had broken my punch, so use my experience and do not try it!! Instead I created my own baubles with circle dies.

It’s pretty hard to photograph, and I wish you could see more of the colour through the mercury glass, perhaps the cracked pattern would have worked better.
Make sure you check out eveyone’s creations this month.
