I asked it for suggestions that would complement a vintage-style rose and was given this perfect colour combination:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Bubble Bath<\/strong> \u2013 Soft and delicate for the base layer of the petals<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Moody Mauve<\/strong> \u2013 A beautiful mid-tone to give richness and depth<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Berry Burst<\/strong> \u2013 Suggested for the darkest shade, but I switched to <strong>Blackberry Bliss<\/strong> for a more dramatic finish<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the leaves:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Soft Sea Foam<\/strong> \u2013 A light, fresh green<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mossy Meadow<\/strong> \u2013 A deep, contrasting green to add dimension<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Card Design and Techniques<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To achieve the vintage look, I used the stencils from the Layers of Beauty Bundle. I started by blending <strong>Bubble Bath<\/strong> lightly over the first layer, followed by <strong>Moody Mauve<\/strong> to deepen the petals. I then added a subtle touch of <strong>Blackberry Bliss<\/strong> to the centre for contrast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the leaves, <strong>Soft Sea Foam<\/strong> added a gentle base, while <strong>Mossy Meadow<\/strong> brought in the darker shadows. If you\u2019re new to blending or prefer not to colour with Stampin\u2019 Blends, these stencils are a fantastic alternative that gives professional results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Adding Texture and Layers<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To give my card more interest, I used the <strong>Textured Notes Dies<\/strong> for the frame and embossed a piece of <strong>Moody Mauve<\/strong> cardstock with the <strong>Distressed Tile Embossing Folder<\/strong>. I lightly blended ink over the embossing to bring out the texture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Instead of adhering my stencilled roses directly to the base, I attached them to the frame and popped the entire piece up using dimensionals. This gives a beautiful dimensional effect that elevates the design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sentiment and Finishing Touches<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the sentiment, I pulled from the <strong>Greetings for All Mix and Match Ephemera Pack<\/strong> and chose a simple \u201cThankful for You\u201d to complete the card. These pre-made sentiments are brilliant when you\u2019re looking for quick and easy options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To finish, I added a few <strong>Antique Pearls<\/strong> coloured with my <strong>Moody Mauve Stampin\u2019 Blend<\/strong> to bring in a little extra shine without overwhelming the card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pro Tip: Use Your Off-Cuts<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I had a few leftover pieces after cutting my floral image, which I used on the inside of the card to tie the design together.
