Don\u2019t stress about smoothness\u2014the texture is the point.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wet scrunched up Cling Wrap, hold and release in a few spots to \u201clift\u201d colour. You\u2019ll see soft veining and frosty patches appear.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Heat set thoroughly.<\/strong> (Important so your next layer stamps cleanly.)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The result is an icy wash with organic texture that reads as winter sky without overwhelming your focal images.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"width: 100%; display: flex; align-items: center; justify-content: center;\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/-1bt8-eRLHE?si=vQ8N60nF-szhSPpd\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Colour Choice That Pops<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the large snowflakes I stamped in <strong>Azure Afternoon<\/strong>\u2014a brighter, clearer blue that lifts beautifully off Balmy Blue. For the centres, I chose <strong>white heat embossing<\/strong>.  It brightens the design, preserves the delicate line work and keeps the card fresh and light. Tip: Use the <strong>Embossing Additions Tool Kit<\/strong> (anti-static) before stamping with VersaMark so your white powder only sticks where it should.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Composition Made Easy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A quick layout rule: <strong>stamp in triangles<\/strong>. Place three large flakes in a loose triangular arrangement, letting the tips \u201cinterlock\u201d so you avoid awkward overlaps. Partial images peeking from edges make the panel look intentional and full.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finish with a bold sentiment using a long label die (I used a favourite ribbon style label), then tuck a few neat loops of <strong>Baker\u2019s Twine<\/strong> behind for softness.
