And if you\u2019re anything like me, you\u2019re not just going to make the cards as-is\u2026 you\u2019re going to want to stretch that kit as far as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That\u2019s exactly what we did in this week\u2019s Thursday Live\u2014taking the elements from the kit and turning them into something completely different (and honestly, card<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is such a simple tweak, but it changes the entire look and feel of the card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here\u2019s what I did:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Cut the original card base in half<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scored at \u00bd&#8221; and again at the centre (2\u00bd&#8221;)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Created a dimensional \u201ctent fold\u201d design<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Used a small panel as a stopper so the card stands<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This gives you a card that feels ways to take your card from \u201ckit\u201d to \u201ccustom\u201d is by adding extra stamping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this case:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>I stamped grasses and seagulls over the printed background<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Kept the ink colour consistent for a cohesive look<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Followed the original design loosely\u2014but added my own placement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It instantly added more depth and made the card feel less flat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Stretch Your Kit Even Further<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By the end of the session, I had:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Created multiple alternative cards<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Used both front and back of card bases<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Still had <em>plenty<\/em> of elements left to play with<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And that\u2019s the real value of Paper
