<\/a><\/p>\nWe arrived on the Wednesday, but Convention didn’t start until Thursday late afternoon.\u00c2\u00a0 I did however have rehearsals for the class I presented in during the day, so it was great to meet the other ladies who were part of the class.<\/p>\n My husband Craig came to the Opening General Session and was a little out of his comfort zone!!<\/p>\n That night was the Social Gathering, which I didn’t get back to (I had intended to), but instead spent a lovely couple of hours skyping with my boys.<\/p>\n Friday was a day of mini classes (and a few hours trying to get my phone fixed).\u00c2\u00a0 Whilst wandering around the displays I bumped into my friend Candice.\u00c2\u00a0 We ended up in the Achievers Room chatting and having a great time.<\/p>\n Friday night was the awards night and after party, which I again didn’t get back to.\u00c2\u00a0 I know how I felt after the Australian Awards night and After Party and there was no way I was going to present feeling like that on top of Jet Lag!<\/p>\n So Craig and I went on a spur of the moment evening ride.<\/p>\n Saturday I presented 3 times during the day, so didn’t get to see much of Convention that day either.\u00c2\u00a0 Even though I was a tad nervous, I have to say I really did enjoy the whole experience.<\/p>\n This was the room empty, I really wish now that I’d been able to take a photo of the room full.\u00c2\u00a0 Craig had asked the capacity of the room (something I forgot to ask). He later told me the room held 2000, but\u00c2\u00a0 there were people standing around the walls of the room as the seating was full.<\/p>\n I’m very grateful to have been given the opportunity to do something well out of my comfort zone.<\/p>\n Then it was time of the Closing Session.\u00c2\u00a0 A whirlwind of days that’s for sure!!\u00c2\u00a0 An amazing experience.<\/p>\n The following are just a few shots I thought were interesting, or photo’s my hubby took while he was out exploring.<\/p>\n Looking up from the entrance to the Salt Palace Convention Centre.<\/p>\n Above each door was an instrument which, we thought when the doors were opened and closed, made the instrument strike and make a note.\u00c2\u00a0 Altho it didn’t happen all the time. ….\u00c2\u00a0 hmmm<\/p>\n I later discovered that these windmills were responsible for creating the notes, and because it wasn’t windy during our stay, they didn’t chime all that often!!<\/p>\n Photo’s Craig took along his travels.<\/p>\n And of course some eye candy!!<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n
