{"id":4052,"date":"2014-10-20T08:30:50","date_gmt":"2014-10-19T22:30:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.alisatilsner.com\/blog\/?p=4052"},"modified":"2014-10-19T14:43:32","modified_gmt":"2014-10-19T04:43:32","slug":"the-artful-stampers-blog-hop-challenge-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.alisatilsner.com\/blog\/the-artful-stampers-blog-hop-challenge-3\/","title":{"rendered":"The Artful Stampers Blog Hop Challenge 3"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome back to another challenge from <a title=\"Pick a Pack of Paper\" href=\"https:\/\/www.alisatilsner.com\/blog\/join-stampin-up\/pick-a-pack-of-paper\/\"><em><strong>The Artful Stampers Team<\/strong><\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This week I set a colour challenge using 5 colours plus white or vanilla for the team.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.alisatilsner.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/IMG_8504.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4053\" src=\"https:\/\/www.alisatilsner.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/IMG_8504.jpg\" alt=\"Stipple Blossoms\" width=\"620\" height=\"547\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.alisatilsner.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/IMG_8504.jpg 620w, https:\/\/www.alisatilsner.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/IMG_8504-340x300.jpg 340w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 620px) 100vw, 620px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.alisatilsner.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Team-20th-October-001-e1413692519151.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4054\" src=\"https:\/\/www.alisatilsner.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Team-20th-October-001-e1413692519151.jpg\" alt=\"Team 20th October-001\" width=\"620\" height=\"310\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>When I have this many colours to choose from, I LOVE to go to my 2-Step Stamp Sets, and my favourite is the <em><strong>Stipple Blossoms Set<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve used Crumb Cake as biggest colour with the base, and then as I&#8217;ve added more colour, I&#8217;ve decreased the amount at which I use them, to give balance.<\/p>\n<p>Rich Razzleberry takes up the next % of colour use with the 1st Step of the Blossom and the biggest piece of purple card, next is Blackberry Bliss, Garden Green, and then the lowest % of colour is Wild Wasabi with just the base of the Leaf image being stamped.<\/p>\n<p>To create my card, I&#8217;ve stamped the large flower and leaves in all 4 colours, the lightest colour goes down first, then using your <em><strong>Stamp a Ma Ji<\/strong><\/em>g, stamp your detailed image in the darker colour.\u00c2\u00a0 A little bit of fussy cutting, but well worth it.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve stamped the layer of Crumb Cake with <em><strong>Dictionary<\/strong><\/em> and <em><strong>Gorgeous Grunge<\/strong><\/em> Stamp Sets and have sponged around the edges with Crumb Cake Ink.<\/p>\n<p>The next layer is Rich Razzleberry and then Blackberry Bliss.\u00c2\u00a0 The Blackberry Bliss was a piece of scrap lying on my table, which was 3cm wide, the perfect fit to cut a V into the end with the Hexagon Punch.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.alisatilsner.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/IMG_2305-e1413693236944.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4055\" src=\"https:\/\/www.alisatilsner.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/IMG_2305-e1413693236944.jpg\" alt=\"Hexagon Punch\" width=\"620\" height=\"465\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I then punched a circle from Garden Green, and pricked holes around the edge.\u00c2\u00a0 Celebrate from <a title=\"Free Exclusive Stamp Set\" href=\"https:\/\/www.alisatilsner.com\/blog\/free-exclusive-stamp-set\/\"><em><strong>Good Greetings<\/strong><\/em><\/a> was stamped onto Whisper White card with Blackberry Bliss Ink and given the same Hexagon Punch treatment\u00c2\u00a0 on the end.<\/p>\n<p>The Blossom is popped up with <em><strong>Dimensionals<\/strong><\/em> as is the entire top panel.\u00c2\u00a0 I finished off my card with a few of those tiny tiny Basic Pearls.<\/p>\n<p>All these product are from Stampin&#8217; Up! and can be ordered in my <a href=\"http:\/\/www3.stampinup.com\/ECWeb\/default.aspx?email=alisacraig%40westnet.com.au&amp;phone=%2808+%29+8682+1052\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ONLINE STORE<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>So now it&#8217;s time to move on to the next creation by <a href=\"http:\/\/lavenderthoughts.wordpress.com\/2014\/10\/20\/artful-stampers-team-challenge-rich-bliss-wild-green\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Annette Sullivan<\/a> to see how she has used her 5 colours \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome back to another challenge from The Artful Stampers Team.
