Welcome to another Artful Stampers Blog Hop Challenge<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n

This week we are using a Sketch.<\/p>\n

I can tell you now, I did NOT intend to fussy cut this image, but when my colouring got a little ugly, it was cut or bin!<\/p>\n

Here’s the sketch, for your inspiration should you wish to play at home.<\/p>\n

I’ve used the colours for the Around the World Challenge<\/a> for this week too.\u00c2\u00a0 Those colours were Baked Brown Sugar<\/strong><\/em>, Cherry Cobbler<\/strong><\/em> and Mossy Meadow<\/strong><\/em>.\u00c2\u00a0 The Cardinal is a My Digital Studio<\/strong><\/em> image which has been resized and printed.\u00c2\u00a0 Coloured with Blendabilities of course.\u00c2\u00a0 The leaves are done in Old Olive, but they work really we with Mossy Meadow.\u00c2\u00a0 You can still see a little bit where I’ve gone out the line, but hey ….<\/p>\n

Lots of layering in this card!\u00c2\u00a0 Double layers on all of them except the base card.\u00c2\u00a0 All top layers have been sponged around to separate them from the bottom layers.\u00c2\u00a0 The Cherry Cobber base and top layer have been embossed with the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder<\/strong><\/em>.\u00c2\u00a0 The top Whisper White and Baked Brown Sugar have been stamped with Dictionary<\/strong><\/em> and Gorgeous Grunge<\/strong><\/em>, just lightly to give a vintage feel.<\/p>\n

I’ve left the Mossy Meadow panel plain to break the card up as it is quite busy.\u00c2\u00a0 Cherry Cobbler Bakers Twine is my only embellishment on this card, I almost forgot to use an embellishment!<\/p>\n
