{"id":42,"date":"2006-11-08T13:43:37","date_gmt":"2006-11-08T03:43:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.alisatilsner.com\/blog\/?p=42"},"modified":"2006-11-08T13:43:37","modified_gmt":"2006-11-08T03:43:37","slug":"crayon-resist-technique","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.alisatilsner.com\/blog\/crayon-resist-technique\/","title":{"rendered":"Crayon Resist Technique"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I attended a Stamping and Scrapbooking Fair this month as a stall holder for Stampin&#8217; Up!.\u00a0 On the table I placed the magazine that I had been published in which showed Crayon Resist, it generated alot of interest, so I thought I would put another card with the same technique here.<\/p>\n<p>[photopress:IMG_2783.JPG,full,pp_empty]<\/p>\n<p>On Gloss card stock i&#8217;ve stamped the clock face from Stampin&#8217; Up! set Artifacts with chocolate chip ink.\u00a0 Then I&#8217;ve used a white crayon to draw highlights onto the face.\u00a0 Next i sponged Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie ink onto the the image.\u00a0 The crayon will resist the ink, leaving any area&#8217;s where the crayon is white.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve then layered onto Chocolate Chip card, Pumpkin Pie, then Old Olive.\u00a0 The Pumpkin Pie layer has been sponged with Chocolate Chip Ink and stamped with the speckle stamp from Itty Bitty Backgrounds Set.\u00a0 For the background layer I&#8217;ve stamped the Clock Face with Pumpkin Pie Ink onto Pumpkin Pie Card, sponged with Chocolate Chip Ink and stamped edges with Speckle Stamp.\u00a0 A few brads and some ribbon, then layer everything onto Old Olive folded card.\u00a0 This card is 5&#8243; x 5&#8243;<\/p>\n<p>Image copyright 1990-2006 Stampin&#8217; Up!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I attended a Stamping and Scrapbooking Fair this month as a stall holder for Stampin&#8217; Up!.\u00a0 On the table I placed the magazine that I had been published in which showed Crayon Resist, it generated alot of interest, so I thought I would put another card with the same technique here.
