Welcome back to another Artful Stampers Blog Hop Challenge<\/strong><\/em>.\u00c2\u00a0 This week we have a Colour Challenge for you.\u00c2\u00a0 I’ve opted to go do a Christmas Card again using the Stampin Up<\/strong> Bright and Beautiful Stamp Set<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n

I have to say it is a little different to what I had in my head, but I’m okay with it.<\/p>\n

\"Bright<\/a><\/p>\n

Our colours this week were Melon Mambo<\/strong><\/em>, Basic Black, Gold<\/strong><\/em> and Whisper White<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n

I’ve started off with a Melon Mambo Card Base, my two layers are Gold Foil and then Basic Black.\u00c2\u00a0 I started off with the idea of using Versamark<\/strong><\/em> to stamp stars all over it and a watermark look to it…. but when I went to emboss the gold sentiment it turned out a BIG MESS!\u00c2\u00a0 Obviously the gold embossing powder wanted to stick to the stars too.\u00c2\u00a0 SIGH I had to start again without the watermark background.<\/p>\n

My pink stars have been White Embossed on Whisper White card, and then sponged over with Melon Mambo Ink.\u00c2\u00a0 The gold star is Gold Foil, and the other star was also a mix up.\u00c2\u00a0 I cut the star out of Whisper White card first, and then tried to stamp onto it with Melon Mambo as an after thought.\u00c2\u00a0 Even looking at it now, I think I should have Gold Embossed on the White.\u00c2\u00a0 Doh!\u00c2\u00a0 Why am I only thinking of this now???<\/p>\n

All stars have been adhered to each other with Dimensionals<\/strong><\/em>, and the top panel is also adhered using Dimensionals.\u00c2\u00a0 The last little star has a Melon Mambo Rhinestone in the middle (coloured with Blendabilities).<\/p>\n
