I’m running late again!\u00c2\u00a0 Up early creating my card for the Blog Hop.\u00c2\u00a0 This week I’m showing you a sneak peek look at the Stampin Up Lotus Blossom<\/strong> which could be yours free during Sale a Bration.<\/p>\n

\"Lotus<\/a><\/p>\n

You are so going to LURVE this stamp set.\u00c2\u00a0 I’d get in quick too, as it’s already gone onto backorder just from Demonstrators claiming it!<\/p>\n

The Lotus Blossom is a 3 step stamp set which comes in photopolymer only.\u00c2\u00a0 This set is a little different in that you stamp the detail image first, then work backwards to the solid image.\u00c2\u00a0 The colours I’ve used are Blackberry Bliss, Rose Red<\/strong> and Blushing Bride<\/strong> (the same pinks we’ll be using in Stamp by Mail starting January).\u00c2\u00a0 The green stems are Wild Wasabi<\/strong> and Garden Green<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

I’ve also used stamps from 2 other brand new sets coming in the Occasions Catalogue.\u00c2\u00a0 The dots and stripes are from a set called Painted Petals<\/strong> (also in Stamp by Mail) and the sentiment are from a set called From the Herd<\/strong>, which just cracks me up!<\/p>\n

All layers have been double layered, sponged around and stamped in the matching ink.\u00c2\u00a0 The thick cotton twine is also new and you’ll get that in Stamp by Mail too.<\/p>\n

For a bit of sparkle, you can see it in real life, I’ve added some Wink of Stella to the Blackberry Bliss areas of the Lotus Blossom, to the spots on the Blushing Bride and to the stripes on the Rose Red panels. It’s quite pretty when you move the card around.<\/p>\n
