The other day, I enjoyed some time with my youngest son.\u00c2\u00a0 I coloured in images from the Stampin Up Big Day Stamp Set (FREE Sale a Bration Item)<\/em><\/strong> while he painted up a Volcano from a kit he received for Christmas.<\/p>\n

Lots of new goodies in this card, as well as lots of Freebie items \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

I started by stamping the images from Big Day.\u00c2\u00a0 There are actually 4 separate images on this card (5 stamps in the set).\u00c2\u00a0 I did use my Stamp a Ma Jig<\/strong><\/em> to line them all up.<\/p>\n

I then coloured with some of the NEW<\/strong><\/em> Blendabilities<\/em><\/strong> that are in the Occasions Catalogue.\u00c2\u00a0 LOVE the new colours we have now.<\/p>\n

The stripy paper in the main panel is another Sale a Bration Freebie and is the Irresistibly Yours Specialty Designer Series Paper<\/strong><\/em>.\u00c2\u00a0 It’s a white paper with a glossy white pattern on it.\u00c2\u00a0 I’ve sponged on some Pink Pirouette<\/em><\/strong> ink to give it’s colour.\u00c2\u00a0 I then splattered on a little Strawberry Slush<\/strong><\/em> ink with a wet Aquapainter<\/strong><\/em>, and simply wiped off any excess ink with a tissue.<\/p>\n

The layout is a fairly simple one.\u00c2\u00a0 My stamped banner in Whisper White is layered onto a piece of Strawberry Slush card.\u00c2\u00a0 The Irresistibly Yours panel is layered onto a piece of Whisper White card, with a slight border around it.\u00c2\u00a0 I then stapled a piece of NEW Bermuda Bay Sequin Trim<\/strong><\/em> to the edge of banner.\u00c2\u00a0 This entire panel is then adhered to the card base with dimensionals.\u00c2\u00a0 I’ve used Bermuda Bay card for the base.\u00c2\u00a0 I had planned to use a fair bit of Pink Pirouette, but sadly my drawer was only full of card scraps and not full A4 pieces!<\/p>\n
