It’s time for me to get back into The Artful Stampers Blog Hop Challenge<\/strong><\/em>s.\u00c2\u00a0 I’ve taken two weeks off, but the girls kept going.\u00c2\u00a0 I’ve been thinking what to make for the last week and came up a blank so I’ve used an idea from Dawn Perry Derrick who got the idea from Julie Davison.<\/p>\n

Mine is a wee bit different tho, as I discovered (after I cut the card front) that I had NO Window Sheets!!\u00c2\u00a0 I had to use Vellum<\/strong><\/em> instead.\u00c2\u00a0 I think the window sheets would have been better. And it makes it hard to photograph!<\/p>\n

The card base is Blackberry Bliss<\/strong><\/em>, scored and folded as usual.\u00c2\u00a0 I then cut 4cm from the spine of the card.\u00c2\u00a0 Vellum<\/strong><\/em> is stuck to the inside edge of the card, and then another 4cm piece has been adhered to the bottom of the vellum.\u00c2\u00a0 I’ve tied some Wild Wasabi Cotton Twine<\/strong><\/em> around the top section, and cut Hello from Wild Wasabi Card<\/strong><\/em> using the Hello You Thinlits Dies<\/strong><\/em>.\u00c2\u00a0 These dies can also be purchased as part of a bundle with the Crazy about You Stamp Set.\u00c2\u00a0 I then finished off the front with Rhinestones<\/strong><\/em> (even tho they look like pearls in the photo)<\/p>\n

The inside of the card looks like this<\/p>\n

The stamp set I’ve used is Painted Petals<\/strong><\/em> (the set we are using in Stamp by Mail<\/a>).\u00c2\u00a0 The leaves are Wild Wasabi. The roses have been stamped with two colours each.\u00c2\u00a0 The lighter colours are Rich Razzleberry<\/strong><\/em> and Blushing Bride<\/strong><\/em>.\u00c2\u00a0 I then sponged on some darker colour being Blackberry Bliss<\/strong><\/em> and Rose Red<\/strong><\/em> respectively.\u00c2\u00a0 The sentiment has been stamped in Black Memento<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n

So when the card is closed, it sort of looks like this (Window Sheets would have been much better!)<\/p>\n
