I sat down to whip up several Congrats and had stamped out all my balloons and cut them out with the matching framelits from the Celebrate Today Bundle.\u00a0 The balloons where just too big for what I needed.\u00a0 I spotted my new Stampin Up Balloon Builders stamp set that we received in our bags at OnStage in Melbourne.\u00a0 Whilst I didn’t think too much of the set when we received them, they were the perfect size for my cards.<\/p>\n

I love the soft watercolour look to the balloons too.\u00a0 I’ve used Rose Red and Mint Macaron as my colour combo.<\/p>\n

Since OnStage I’ve been creating my cards in a different size to the normal A6 we use.\u00a0 I have to say I really like the size of the US card bases, and while we can’t get 2 card bases out of our A4 card if you used the same size as the US, you can cut the side of our standard card.\u00a0 I’ve been using 13cm by 21cm to give a shorter boxier rectangle.<\/p>\n

You can’t tell in the photos but I’ve used Wink of Stella on the embossed stars and also the balloons.\u00a0 Love the shimmer it gives without the mess of glitter.\u00a0 The White Glitter Ribbon and the Silver Cord Trim are on the Retiring List so if you’ve loved using them these past few months, may I suggest you get in and grab some more before they’re gone.<\/p>\n
