I have discovered a new Watercolour Base, and I’m inlove with the results.\u00a0 There is a long story behind it, but I’m not going to bore you with it, but basically Shimmer Paper is the new Watercolour Paper!\u00a0 And to try out my first attempt with the Shimmer Paper, I’ve used Birthday Blooms.<\/p>\n

\"Birthday<\/p>\n

The inks just blend so beautifully!\u00a0 I started by Stamping the flower onto the Shimmer Paper with Black Stazon, you could also use the new Archival Ink.\u00a0 The flower is Rose Red, the leaves are Mint Macaron and Mossy Meadow with a little Crushed Curry for the stamens of the flower.<\/p>\n

I’ve used the same Sketch from a Blog Hop a few weeks back and colour combo from a Blog Hop that I didn’t get to participate in either.\u00a0 The paper is from the Have a Cuppa DSP Stack, a little Silver Thread behind the image and and a sprinkle of sequins to finish it off.<\/p>\n

You can just see the Shimmer the paper has on it.\u00a0 It’s very subtle in the right light.<\/p>\n
