Welcome to the One Stamp at a Time Blog Hop!!\u00a0 This month our theme is Dog Days of Summer!\u00a0\u00a0 I have to admit, I did struggle with the theme. It feels like our Winter is dragging on, and I’m hanging out for Summer!<\/p>\n

I’ve tried to interpret the theme the best way I can.\u00a0 I love long balmy Summer evenings when it’s right on dusk, and the birds are still singing happily.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 What best stamp set to use?\u00a0 Best Birds of course \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Rose Red and Crushed Curry with the Sunburst image behind the bird remind me of Summer nights.<\/p>\n

For my 3D item I’ve gone with a Glassine Bag and Insert following the same theme as the card.<\/p>\n

and the pull out insert:<\/p>\n

The birds really are quite enjoyable to colour.\u00a0 I’ve stamped them Shimmery Card and coloured with Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Early Espresso , Blushing Bride and Rose Red.\u00a0 The branch is the same neutrals plus Wild Wasabi and Garden Green.<\/p>\n
