Hey Hey!\u00a0 Time for another Blog Hop.\u00a0 Today I’m finally getting back into my own team blog hops.\u00a0 This week is a Colour Challenge.<\/p>\n

I did make a little boo boo and called the\u00a0darker grey Going Gray, but it is in fact Basic Gray.\u00a0 And goodness me – I didn’t even centre my colour swatch graphic!<\/p>\n

\"team-hop-110\"I’m sure you’ll be able to over look my mistakes, unless you’re the OCD kind a person. Is it bothering you now?\u00a0 It’s bothering me!\u00a0 Let’s move onto the card shall we?<\/p>\n

Okay… onto how I created the card.\u00a0 I first stamped the flowers (Lily? I don’t know) in Black Stazon, and watercoloured with Crushed Curry, Smoky Slate and BASIC GRAY.\u00a0\u00a0 Then I restamped the flowers onto regular printer paper, cut them out, painted on some 2 Way Glue Pen and allowed it to go tacky.\u00a0 You know what that is right?\u00a0 Masking!!\u00a0 I was able to cover my flowers with the masks and then sponge on some Crushed Curry.\u00a0 The colour is a lot deeper and richer in real life.<\/p>\n

I then took a strip of Basic Gray from the Paper Stack and stuck it behind the water colour paper so that it was the same width as the card base.\u00a0 I’ve tied some Thick Bakers Twine around the card and made a pretty bow.\u00a0 Did you notice I also tied the bow tails into knots?\u00a0 It adds a little something extra without actually adding the extra, if you know what I mean.<\/p>\n

I then mounted the whole panel with Dimensionals onto Crushed Curry card base, and added the sentiment.\u00a0 Voila!\u00a0 Done.\u00a0 I think this card would also be a suitable Sympathy Card.<\/p>\n
