Hey!\u00a0 Do you make your own Gift Boxes for Christmas? Or any other occasion?\u00a0 I don’t normally, but I did create some for Christmas.\u00a0 They are super easy, and really don’t take too much time or materials.\u00a0 Best of all, they can be personalised.<\/p>\n

Here’s one that I’ve created so far, it was a bit tricky to photograph!<\/p>\n

The box itself is made from the Kraft\u00a0 12 x 12 cardstock found in the Merry Little Christmas 12×12 Cardstock Pack (it also contains Old Olive). There’s 12 sheets of both colours, so you can not only scrapbook with them, but make loads of boxes, with lids!<\/p>\n

I’ve then used the coordinating products in the Merry Little Christmas Suite to add layering and of course a great bow and tag.<\/p>\n

A little tip, if you are creating a lid to go with your base, make sure score a little wider so that the base doesn’t distort when you put the lid on.\u00a0 For example, if I’m scoring my base at 7cm, I’ll want to score my lid at 6.9cm.\u00a0 This will make the flat area of the lid slightly bigger than the base area.\u00a0 Hmm – I hope that I’ve described that in a way you can understand.<\/p>\n
