I am so excited to share projects with you from demonstrator friends around the world all using the Monster Bash OR Pressed Petals Designer Series Paper. I am honored to be a part of this design team and love that we can all share projects using the same DSP. Considering we don’t really celebrate Halloween that much here in Australia, I’ve decided to use the Pressed Petals Designer Series Paper. And it’s one of the papers on offer in the Buy 3 Get 1 Free promotion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So onto my card\u2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now I don’t have the matching stamp set for this paper, so I chose the Country Harvest set to go with it instead. It’s not a perfect match, but I still think it works. Especially when you can chose the matching colours \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the flowers, I’ve used the Shimmery Crystal Effects to add a little glossy shimmer. It does take some time to dry, so it’s not something you could put on a card, then envelope up straight away. If you have the time, it’s a great addition to your cards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So now that you can see my card open, you find it’s not an ordinary card. My friend Pam Jorgenson showed me a card she had made from DSP, I thought it was fantastic so had to make one too. I’m not sure of the measurements Pam used as we were video chatting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The base of the card is the DSP. Mine measures 30cm x 13cm. On my score board, I turned the paper upside down so I was working from the right to the left (is that confusing) I scored at 10.5cm and at 21cm. This allows the card to be a regular sized card. The front panel is a little shorter, but allows some of the reverse side of the DSP to peek out on the left hand side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So now it\u2019s time to see what the rest of the Design Team has made using the their chosen DSP. Make sure to visit everyone to see all the fun things you can do with this paper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n
