Artfully Asian

It’s been so long since I’ve done some ‘real’ sponging on my cards.  By real, I mean sponging every piece of layering card.  I really like the warmth it gives to a card.

Artfully Asian Alisa Tilsner

Card Recipe:

Stamp Set: Artfully Asian, Sanded Background

Card: Bravo Burgundy, Always Artichoke, Mellow Moss, Whisper White

Ink: Bravo Burgundy, Always Artichoke, Basic Black

Accessories:  Blender Pen, Sponges, Mellow Moss Grosgrain Ribbon, Dimensionals.

Yesterday was my little man’s 7th Birthday, so tomorrow I’ll upload the card I whipped up for him.  That is when my batteries in the camera recharge.  Why is it that when you want the camera the most, the batteries go flat?  Like at the birthday party!  Grrrrr

More Magnolia Cards

Filed under: Magnolia Design Team — alisa at 5:40 pm on Friday, May 16, 2008

Gosh, 3 posts in one day!

Remember this little cutie?  Well here she is again.

Tilda

Tilda and the Roses are from Magnolia as is the card base and the patterned paper.

I’ve coloured Tilda in using Stampin’ Up! Markers and layered her onto some Old Olive.  I’ve also used a little bit of sparkle in her wings, which the camera has picked up nicely.

I also stamped Baroque Motifs in the corners with Old Olive

I’ll have some to show very soon.

Fabulous Flowers

I know I’m late for Mothers Day, I hope you all had a fantastic day.   Here’s a card that I made, but now that it’s past, you could easily change the sentiment to something new.

Fabulous Flowers Stampin Up

On Mothers Day, my 6 year old son, begged me to teach him how to knit!  Hmm Knitting a boy??  But he insisted.  So I say down with him and taught him, and you know what, he’s really good at it.  It has to be good for his hand eye coordination and concentration.  I’ll take a photo later and show you all how good he is at it!

Stamp Set:  Fabulous Flowers

Card: Purely Pomegranite, Wild Wasabi, Whisper White

Ink: Purely Pomegranite, Wild Wasabi

And a little bit of bling!
