Lovely as a Tree
Yay!! New Rubba to play with. I’ve been looking for something more masculine now that I’ve parted with Balmy Breezes *sob*. I’d seen lots of stunning cards made with Lovely as a Tree, so it was time to lash out (and YES Marelle I bought them! 😉 )

This first one is a CASE, again it’s been cased so many times, I’m not sure who the original artist is. A great no layer card. I’ve used the technique Reverse Masking where you cut out a frame from scrap paper and work within that area instead of around it as you would with normal masking.
Colours are Always Artichoke and Chocolate Chip

This next one is mine, well almost, it was a sketch challenge, but the rest is mine 😉 The tree is coloured with Watercolour Crayons and a Blender Pen.
Colours are Chocolate Chip, Kraft, Mellow Moss, and Whisper White. The stamps used are Lovely as a Tree, Weathered and French Script. I’ve sponged Choc Chip on all the layers and have paper pierced the edges of the triangles.
Very happy with this one!
