Sketch Saturday 130
Well I didn’t get back to the last sketch, but I did whip this one up in no time at all.
I’ve mostly kept to the sketch this week. Â I used the FABULOUS new set Strength and Hope, which you’ll probably see a lot, it’s already had a major flogging this weekend. Â This set is a little different in that it’s a Fundraising Set. Â $2 from the sale of this set will be donated to Breast Cancer Research, so I’ll really be pushing this set if you don’t mind.
We all have someone we know who has been affected by Breast Cancer. Â For me, it was my mum, she passed away 11 years this month at the age of 44, so please please please, make sure you are checking for lumps and bumps.
I’ve taken a similar colour scheme from the sample in the Mini Catalogue, love it. Â I’ll be showcasing this set and colour scheme in my new Online Workshops which will be coming soon. Â If you’re interested in being one of the first to be an Online Hostess, please let me know, I should be ready with all the details and set to go very very soon.

how funny … we used same sketch and same stamp set and still had two different cards 😉 I am actually seein my doctor for some lumps n bumps so know how important the regular checking is. xx
Hi Alisa. This is a beautiful card in memory of your MUM. I will be pushing this set too. I am a BC survivor of six years. I was only 39yrs when I was diagnosed, so this cause is something close to my heart. Best Wishes xxx
Beautiful card, Alisa! So sorry about your mom. My sisters lost their mom (my stepmother) after her 18+ years battle 10 years ago in January. I will be pushing this set right along with you!

Soo beautiful! I love the colors! I have a couple of friends that are survivors, this is a beautiful way to remember your Mum!
PS – what is the deal with the online hostessing? I might not be able to do it this time around (what with my new bundle of joy!), but maybe in the future. 🙂
Beautiful card and a gorgeous stamp set! I am the daughter of a survivor too….so awful to watch ones beloved Mum go through such a trauma.
