Bronco Busters
Another challenge I set for the Team Cyberstamp was a colour challenge. We had to use Blue Bayou, Soft Sky, Whisper White and Chocolate Chip.
Card Recipe:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Blue Bayou, Soft Sky, Chocolate Chip
Ink: Blue Bayou, Soft Sky
Stamps: Bronco Buster
Accessories: Crop a dile, Jumbo Eyelets, Dimensionals, Sponge
I’m not entirely happy with this one, and think it can be improved, what do you think?
A, I like this card. Especially the eyelets, will have to order some now. Also like Alison’s lasso idea. Did you use Sanded background stamp as well? Thanks for sharing, K
Love the colours Alisa. Very warm. Oh, love Alisons Solven’s idea about the twine lasso. What a great idea. I was just going to suggest different textured ribbon (maybe some twine also?) or introducing another texture of some kind. But I love the card Alisa as it is simplistic and male and they are hard to find 🙂 Loving those eyelets! Like Cass, will have to blame you when I put in an order for those! lol

Nope I am loving it all!! I didn’t read your comment at first and was thinking I needed to order everything on the list – it is FABBO!
I love the card. I also LOVE this set and always add a little lasso made out of hemp. Just wrap the hemp around your figure about 3 times and then loop it through and tie a knot. You can ad a brad to the top to make it look like the “horn” on the saddle and then attach with a glue dot. I think that would finish it off nicely and add some dimension. Having said all of this – it’s beautiful the way it is.

Is that the “Sanded” background stamp on the Soft Sky? I keep meaning to add it to my order.
I wanted to add re you not being happy with it –
it is a lovely card, but I think I understand what you mean.
You could perhaps think about introducing another colour or another texture to it?
