Another Simple Card …..
Or a plot to kill me? I think this is what today’s card had in mind.
I have never had so much trouble creating something so simple. Firstly I had some child free time while the boys were at Kids Club, so I wasted a bit of that time on Facebook, then decided to make a card. Was coming along nicely with my colouring in until I noticed that I had Rose Red ink all over my fingers and all over my card!! Wahhhhhhhh!!
I’d run out of time then, so had to wait until after lunch.
Carefully I coloured again. Then my sentiment went down slightly crooked even though I used a Stamp a ma Jig Grrrrrrrr!
Then I tried to create a double bow with the seam binding, but do you think I could get the brad to work with me, after I’d punched a hole in the card base. I finally got the brad to sit right after putting glue underneath it. And all over my card front. Thank goodness for Adhesive Remover!!
*sigh* now it just looks ………
I give up. I’m leaving the craft room for the rest of the day, and will try again tomorrow.
ETA: The colouring – Start by embossing your image in White EP. Using an Aquapainter, colour with Whisper White Ink, allow to dry. Colour over the top of your white image. I’ve used Rose Red and Old Olive.
Just wondering which set the flower stamp is from? Love this technique – have used Secret Garden and Flower shop with it but also love the stamp used here.

Beautiful colors and perfect, elegant simplicity. I love it. Wondering if you used ink and aquapainter to add the colors to the flowers or just our markers over the white ink?
