My son’s birthday card.
This is the card I whipped up for my little man who turned 7 last Friday. I kept telling him that I didnt have time to get a pressie (I know, a bit mean), but he said ‘That’s okay Mum, just make me one of your cards’ –  awwwww
I just love the effect that Paper Piecing gives, colour without colouring! I have a set of Hannah Stamps cards coming up in next months Stamping & Papercraft (which is getting a new name soon!) using this technique.
Now I just have to make another birthday card for my youngest son who will be 5 tomorrow!! Why is it that I dont have any stamps suitable for youngsters?? Hmm maybe a bit of stamp shopping is needed *grin*

Stamp Sets: Loads of Love, Short and Sweet
Card:Â Old Olive (textured), Blue Bayou, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black
Accessories: Spring Break Designer Paper, Old Olive Wide Grosgrain Ribbon, Blue Bayou Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, Photo Corner Punch, Not Quite Navy Brad, Watercolour Crayons Neutral, Aquapainter, 2 way glue pen, dimensionals.

I really like that Alisa, a definite classic! I’m going to have to give that paper piercing a go, it gives the stamp a whole new look!
