Today was back to Linc n Learn day, but in my usual style, I was not organised properly with a card!
Last night we went and saw Colin Hay (Men at Work) play – BRILLIANT!! I had a little time sort of play with the Mojo Monday Sketch for this week. So I had colours worked out etc, then when I got home from being out, I cut the card. Then in the half hour between school and leaving for Linc n Learn I stuck my card together.
So here’s the sketch:
And here’s the card I made at home, I wanted to put “more” into it at Linc n Learn and had all these plans to add to it.
BUUUUUT when we sat down to create (7 of us), it took a little longer as we decorated the inside and stamped on the envelope. I did add some brads, but the ladies decided they didn’t actually like it with the brads.
So what do you think? Brads or no Brads?
Personally I prefer no brads, but both are nice, I think there is no need for anything more on this card. I love the pretty CS greens you have put with the pinks – what colour cardstocks have you used – they look fab together! Shame I live to far away to go to Linc and Learn!!
Hi Alisa, Love this card – no wonder you ran out of time to add any extras ( would love to see what else could have been added, as they look very finished already).

Gorgeous card Alisa. Personally I like the brads, I think they draw focus to the sentiment. Love all your layers and ADORE the honeycomb!
