World Teachers Day

Today our school is celebrating World Teachers Day (yes its a week early, but it fits with their schedule better)

I’m the Class Carer for my Son’s class, this is one of the gifts that was given to our Teacher this morning.

The top part lifts off.  Inside I had the students write a word or little message to describe their teacher.

And before you all go asking – I’ve bought a template from SVGCuts and have cut it out with my Silhouette Cameo.  Everything else is Stampin’ Up!

I’ve used Cherry Cobbler as the apple base, and would you believe it, Season of Style for the top of the apple.  So not just for Christmas!  The stem and leaf is from Garden Green.  A little bit of embossing through the Big Shot, and some Bakers Twine finished it all off.  🙂

I had a lot of fun creating this.  I’m off to make a tea pot now 🙂
