The Artful Stampers Blog Hop Challenge 29
Welcome to another Blog Hop Challenge, this week I’m using Stampin Up Indescribable Gift.
It’s been a while since I coloured with an Aquapainter and my Ink Pads, I must say I really enjoyed colouring this image.
I’ve only just jumped on this band wagon, I know! It’s taken forever for me to get it, I’ll have to use it heaps before the end of May now.
Edited to Add (with thanks to Alison Barclay) that I’ve linked up with The Paper Players (my first time)
Another Edit :

Very simple card. I’ve just embossed onto Watercolour Paper with White Embossing Powder and then coloured with an Aquapainter, my Ink Pads, and Reinkers to give a little depth. The strip on the end is from Butterfly Basics stamp set. I think it just gives enough interest without being over the top. Wrap a bit of Bakers Twine around the end and tie in a bow. Too Easy!

Here’s the challenge I set for the team.

And here’s the Card Recipe if you’d like to make this yourself:
- Stamp Sets: Indescribable Gift, Butterfly Basics, Teeny Tiny Sentiments
- Ink: Versamark, Rose Red, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Baked Brown Sugar
- Card: Watercolour, Rose Red, Whisper White
- Other: White Embossing Powder, Bakers Twine, Rhinestone, Aquapainter
This week we have a large line up for our Team Blog Hop, so make sure you go all the way around 🙂
Next we are onto Alison Barclay

Alisa, I just saw this card on The Paper Players blog. What a beautiful creation. I love love playing with watercolours and I am totally enarmoured of this card. So beautiful.
The flower – is that a stampin Up one, if so I want it, will have to get. Its just so soft. I have seen it used by others. I am also in Australia, Sydney.

Cheers Aileen
What a great first entry to our challenge Alisa! I’ve seen lots of watercolours of this stamp, but none as beautifully bold and vibrant as this! I love the border stamp along the edge too and the addition of the twine. Thanks for joining us at The Paper Players this week!

Alisa, your card is just gorgeous, I love the bright contrast of the soft pinks and the yellow background, this makes your beautifully colored image pop. I’m so glad you liked your card to the Paper Players, it’s just perfect for this challenge.
Thank you for sharing and have a wonderful week.
