Stampin Up Versatile Christmas
As a Demonstrator, each week we receive an email with articles to help us with our business. Sometimes these emails contain stamping inspiration. Wednesday morning one such inspiring email arrived, right in time for our final Linc n Learn for the year, so I decided that we’d make two of the three cards that were in the email. I didn’t have all the correct stamps and items, so I’ve adapted where need. I’ve used the Stampin Up Versatile Christmas Set in place of Cozy Christmas, but you’d never know unless you received the email yourself 😉
The inspiration also focused on the Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper. I had just enough for the 6 of us in the class. I didn’t have any Pool Party Cardstock (what??) so I’ve used Mint Macaron which was a closer match than Soft Sky.
Start with your card base, then add two pieces of ribbon, cut and assembled to look like a big bow tail. Add some of the snow falling DSP, I’ve used some of the Foil Vellum. Cut a tree out, add some natural twine behind the tree. Add your sentiment and you’re done. This one was a nice quick card.
Loads of layering, and loads of height. It was really quite fun to create and I love how it turned out despite using slightly different materials.
