Stampin Up Home for Christmas

Here’s a look at the second card we made at Linc n Learn last week (from the Stampin’ Up! email we received)  This one should have featured more of Stamp Up Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper, but I was severely lacking in paper by this time so we had to make do with what I had.

Woah!!  So many layers right?

Okay, starting from the bottom.  The base is Mossy Meadow in the shorter size I mentioned in my other posts.  Next is a piece of Very Vanilla on an angle, then a layer of Vellum.  I had run out of the snow falling looking DSP so I’ve used a piece of Mint Macaron Dotty paper from the colour family stacks with some of the foil vellum behind it.  I had also run out of the Striped Very Vanilla Ribbon for myself, so I used regular cardstock, with a strip of Mossy Meadow.  I’ve also used Jolly Christmas instead of the Cozy Christmas set for my sentiment.  Cut out a Santa from the Home for Christmas paper and added a Button from the Home for Christmas Buttons collection.

I really loved how this one turned out too.  I think the ladies in my class also enjoyed creating something that wasn’t MY usual style.  It’s great to try out new styles and techniques ones in a while.  I would NEVER create these type of cards usually.
